Practice shoots

Clown Pumpkin and Dark nurse experimental shoot.

This shoot was a mixture of testing lighting in the attic and creating a suitable costume for a clown.  In this shoot I realized that the costume worked well and the location will be suitable but the introduction of a panoramic tripod will give the image another element. In this image I used RAW software to dull down the vibrancy in the background as to focus all attention on the main subject (Clown), also to create this feel I picked up the clarity and vibrancy on the model. Things I will change to the costume of the clown and location:
·      Trousers
·      Top
·      Making the weapons stand out more
·      Insert more vintage props

Also in this experimental shoot I took a few shots of some pumpkins I carved on Halloween encase I could insert them into my finals as well as a practice shoot of the dark nurse experimenting with light and slow shutter speeds to portray the un natural surreal movement of the character. I believe theses shoots where successful as I learnt a lot about how I want position models and use light. From the clown and dark nurse shoot I found that a cold blue spot light would give the viewer a feel of a torch catching the characters by surprise and alerting them to there presents, which in my opinion could put the viewer in the curious teenagers perspective making them feel more evolved in the narrative.
