Finals

This is the original image to the witch final image the shoot was taken in my girlfriends mums back garden where she has an out house which is used for potting . the paint on the walls has began to peal and the carpet is perishing, this gives the feel of an abandoned room. the face paint did not need to be perfect as manipulation will come in to play in the post production stage using liquify to distort the body parts creating a un natural feel to the model. For this shoot I used a Nikon D90 with a 10-20mm wide angle lens to get more of the rooms detail into the shot also I used a Z96 led spot light to enhance the spooky feel to the image.

This is the final image after editing and I have used Liquify tool to make the main subjects fingers an unnatural shape as well as her arms. i also used liquify to elongate her face and make her eyes more aggressive . Colour wise I turned the background black and white and desaturated the main subject to give a darker feel to the images. This was the first of my finals I created and am pleased with the out come I tried to use line and form in the way of extending the models arm to lead the viewer to the face of the subject.

This is the original image of slender man taken in a cell at Bodmin Jail the set up like all of my images was the same, D90,10-20mm lens , tripod and Z96 L.E.D light. The model (sam) was put intentionally into a calm un aggressive pose as to portray the creatures calm nature.

This is the final slenderman shot after much manipulation using liquify I managed to extend the arms using another back ground image I took with out the model being there  so after taking away the background on the front layer which included slender man I was able to use liquify with out distorting the background again as with the first image I took the colour away other than his iconic red tie . I think this is my favourite image out of the five I think the detail on the floor and walls makes the image and the contrast between the blacks and white make it the strongest image.

This is the original image of the clown shoot I took the image in my spare room which is in the process of redecoration. The image was took with the post production in mind as the image looks terrible on its own.

This is the finished clown shot I manipulated the mussels on Dans back and arms to make him a un human shape the face again was changed with liquify tool to create a un naturally large creepy smile.
This image is one of my least favourites and weakest in my opinion. In this series of images I tried to make each image look as the viewer has just walked in and caught the creature by surprise, in this case the clown just carries on with his current victim while the viewer watches.

This is the attic scene originals it was a combination of a panoramic and a portrait shot of a model merged together to create the ghostly effect using opacity sliders. I decided to do this image in a panoramic format due to the way I was arranging the finals to create a house 4 a3 images as the rooms then the panoramic as the roof.

This is the final again I took out the colour except from the roses This image had the least post production due to the basic nature of the image.

This is the image that ties it all together with the narrative the image is showing curious kids going into the abandoned house about to meet there untimly deaths ?

this is the final image i de saturated the image and put a figure under the stairs to add to the theme.

All in all the project was in my opinion successful I enjoyed the creativity involved and two of the five image im really happy with if I was to re do this assignment i would rely on models less and leave my self some time just incase of the models not turning up re ocurring .

THIS IS HOW THE IMAGES SHOULD BE SET OUT TO ACHEIVE MAXIMUM POTENTIAL
